dialogue with bird life on the water

d

Without lifting a finger, without any contribution from us, we are gifted with an incredibly rich and diverse environment of water birds and other water creatures.

Ours it is to simply enjoy, be awed and entertained by such a display of life.

AND TO PROTECT IT

All these photos are my own. Most were taken at the Rockhampton Botanical Gardens , including the sunset.

Life is One Big Yawn
Family Dispute
Hey, just leave me alone will ya!
I’m sorry, I am so busy I simply do not have time at the moment for an interview
Well, I'm glad I finally got that off my chest!
Did someone mention my name?
I’m so stressed, feels like I am walking on eggshells
Hey, do you think I am Bird Life? In my first life I was ET from an outer universe!
Standing together, on two legs
Bud, you’re really ruffling my feathers
Contemplative Ducks
They do tell me I am SO beautiful.
Sometimes Life just goes Bottom Up
A Friend In Need
Is a Friend Indeed
We are the story
Wheels Down!
LANDING 1
LANDING 2
LANDING 3
SPLASHDOWN!
What’s All the Fuss About?
Of Grace and Beauty
At Peace
I’m certain I left the kids somewhere here
Life Begins with a Flap of the Wings
OUR UNIVERSE. PLEASE PROTECT IT!

  • I always think Birds are the most awe-inspiring creatures as they transport us above the weariness of life flying above into the unknown and then gliding on the waters of the earth giving the ground we walk on a reflection of the mystery of wing spans which take them where they will.
Flight seems easier than fight sometimes. I envy the birds.

  • Very well expressed, Veronica! Birds speak so much of freedom as well as connectivity, bringing the heavens and the earth together.
“And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest…” Psalm 55:6,7
Seagulls are the birds that speak strongest to me of grace and freedom. I am preparing a photo essay on them to be posted shortly.
